What are Billable People?
Kalido’s Billable People feature determines whether an employee directly generates revenue for an organisation. This is really helpful for running analyses of costs and availability.
What are Unbillable People?
Many organisations have roles (usually executive, managerial, or support) that don’t generate revenue: these are Unbillable People.
How do I designate a person as Billable or Unbillable?
To designate a member as Billable or Non-Billable:
1. Go to the Network tab and select the correct Network.
2. Click the Members tab.
3. Click the 3 dot menu and select Edit. Here you can view all the organisation and edit any relevant information.
How does defining people as Billable or Unbillable help my organisation?
It’s important that Unbillable People can be specifically flagged, so that they don’t end up dominating analyses that should only affect Billable People. It also empowers Project Administrators to staff Projects with the right people. And they can filter their Quest Matches to show only people that are Billable so that they don’t attempt to staff employees externally who are only internal.
