This article will show you how to get the most out of your Kalido account and how best to populate your profile to get more and better matches.

Can I have more than one identity on Kalido?

No, a key advantage of Kalido is that it’s a platform for your whole self so you only have one Profile. But you can customise every single element so that multiple Networks each see the different parts of you (Skills, Interests, etc) that you feel are most important in that context.  

Can I change my name on Kalido?

Yes, go to your Profile, click Edit and you can change your details. 

How do I reset my password?

Go to https://web.kalido.me/#/login/recover  2. Enter the email you signed up with, and click “Send email” 3. Check your email for a reset link, and click it 4. Enter your new password 5. Go to https://web.kalido.me/#/login/ and sign in with your new password  (You can also get to this link anytime by gong to web.kalido.me, clicking Sign In, entering your email address, and then clicking the “Forgot your password?” link).

How do I sign out?

Web:

1. On web.kalido.me, click on your Profile picture at the top of your browser
2. Select the gear to the right of to your picture in your Profile
3. Click “Logout”

Mobile:

1. Go to your Profile tab in Kalido
2. Click the gear icon to the right of your picture in your Profile
3. Scroll to the bottom
4. Select “Sign out” 

How do I manage my notifications?

Mobile & web: go to Settings and select Notifications. You can choose which email and push notifications you’d like to receive. You can also manage some notifications from Kalido in the Settings of your device. 

You can fully customise your notification settings on Kalido for each of your Networks, Channels, and Group Chats. This means you can stay as informed as you want for each type of communication – whether that’s being alerted to every new message, @mentions only, or muting it altogether. Visit the Settings for each Network, Channel, or Group Chat you want to customise. 

How do I unsubscribe from Kalido emails?

To unsubscribe from a specific type of email - such as your Daily Quests Update, or emails alerting you to unread Chat messages - click on ‘Unsubscribe’ at the bottom of the email. To unsubscribe from all emails and manage your notifications:

1. Click the Settings icon to the right of your Profile header and select Settings. 
2. Go to Email Notifications where you can select the type and frequency of emails from Kalido. 
3. You can also manage your notifications in the Push Notifications tab.

How do I leave a Network?

To leave a Network:

1. Go to the Networks tab.
2. Navigate to the Network or Channel that you want to leave. Click the 'View Network' button on the right-hand side.
3. Select the three dots symbol at the top right.
4. Select the last option: Leave Network.
5. Or click 'Open Network Chat': This can also be accessed through the Chat section on the left-hand side.
6. Select the three dots symbol at the top.
7. Select the last option: Leave Network.

How do I change my primary email address?

Mobile & web: go to Profile Settings and Manage My Account. You can add an email address here and select it as your primary email address. This means that future Kalido emails will be sent to that address. You’ll also only be able to log in with your primary email address (and any social logins or Active Directory logins that are associated with your account).

Can I link more than one email address or phone number to my account?

Yes, you can link as many email addresses or phone numbers to your account as you want. And you can choose which Networks see each one. You can select which email address you want as your primary email address that you use to log in to Kalido. 

Can I access details of all the data I’ve shared on Kalido?

Yes, you can download a copy of all the data you have shared on Kalido by visiting your Profile, click Settings then Manage Account, scroll down and click ‘Download Kalido data’. If you choose to continue, we’ll create an archive of images, videos, Chat messages, Profile information and searches you shared on Kalido. You’ll receive an email when your archive is ready to download – please note this may take a little while. 

How do I access the policies I agreed to when I signed up to Kalido?

When you signed up to Kalido, there was an option to have a copy of the policies emailed to you. If you chose this option, then you’ll be able to find the policies in your email account. 

If not, then log out of Kalido and go to the ‘Sign up’ page. This will display the policies which you can read through and also enter your email address to be sent a copy, if you’d like. 

How do I delete my account?

We’d be very sorry to see you go, but if you want to delete your account, visit About->Settings->Manage Account->Delete Account.
